• SELECTION & INSTALLATION

We strongly recommend lubricating a new connecting link prior to assembly. For clip-type links (FJ, RJ), ensure the open end faces away from the drive direction. The FJ type has Press Fit Outer Plates that require the SFR Cutting & Riveting Tool for proper installation. For rivet-type links (ZJ), employ the MOTOMAX KM500R Tool for precision installation. Maintain a chain sag of 10 mm under rider load to ensure optimal performance.

• SELECTION & INSTALLATION

1. Always verify applicability with your distributor or refer to the SFR chain catalogue/application chart to ensure compatibility. Incorrect use can lead to significant damage or injury.

2. Detach the old chain at its joint. For endless chains or those with rivet-type links (ZJ), use the SFR Cutting & Riveting Tool or a similar device.

3. Connect the new chain using a fresh link; rotate the rear wheel to position it correctly.
