• SELECTION & INSTALLATION

We highly recommend pre-lubricating the new connecting link before installation. When attaching the clip type connecting link (FJ, RJ), ensure the open end of the clip faces opposite the chain drive direction. For FJ type, use the SFR Cutting & Riveting Tool for a precise fit. With rivet type links (ZJ), employ the MOTOMAX KM500R tool for optimal pin head riveting. Follow motorcycle manual guidelines for chain sag adjustments, ensuring rider load sag is 10 mm.

• SELECTION & INSTALLATION

1. Always verify compatibility with your motorcycle by consulting your distributor, local dealer, or the SFR chain catalogue/application chart. Incorrect selection could lead to severe damage or injury.

2. To remove the old chain, cut it at its joint. For motorcycles with an endless chain or rivet link (ZJ), utilize the SFR Cutting & Riveting Tool or an equivalent.

3. Attach the new chain by connecting it to the old chain's end using a fresh link. Rotate the rear wheel to position the new chain properly.
