Product Usage

• SELECTION & INSTALLATION

We highly recommend lubricating a new connecting link before joining the chain ends. For Clip type connecting links (FJ, RJ), ensure the open end of the clip faces opposite the drive direction. The FJ type requires the SFR Cutting & Riveting Tool for outer plate pressing. For Rivet type links (ZJ), use the MOTOMAX KM500R Tool to accurately press and rivet. Adjust chain sag as per the motorcycle owner's manual, ideally 10 mm with rider load.

• SELECTION & INSTALLATION

1. Consult your distributor, local dealer, or the SFR chain catalogue to confirm compatibility with your motorcycle. Incorrect selection can lead to significant damage or injury.

2. Remove the old chain at the joint. If equipped with an endless or Rivet type link, utilize the SFR Cutting & Riveting Tool or a similar device.

3. Attach the new chain to the old one using a connecting link. Rotate the rear wheel to guide the new chain into position.
